After an extensive renovation, the charming Hotel Bergzeit in Großarl opted for a software migration – and we had the pleasure of supporting this exciting project. The family-run 4-star hotel is located in the heart of the Salzburg mountains – here are the project highlights.
The renovation introduced many changes – and digitally, the hotel wanted to be future-proof. The biggest challenge was to implement the software migration without disrupting daily operations. It was also essential to integrate all existing systems seamlessly and activate new tools such as a voucher and newsletter system. The variety of services and the personal guest communication also had to be reflected in the new software solution.
By choosing ASA Hotel, a powerful and proven solution was selected. We installed the system during ongoing operations, migrated the data from the old system, and successfully connected existing systems such as the channel manager, digital guest registration, and POS system. New interfaces – such as for vouchers and newsletter delivery – were also activated to further expand the hotel’s digital offering.
Special attention was given to designing new templates for the ASA Webmail correspondence tool. These were visually and stylistically aligned with the hotel’s brand and tone of voice.
The practical, hands-on training of the entire team was also a key factor in the project's success. Shortly after the go-live, it became clear: hotel operations were running smoothly, all systems were seamlessly interconnected, and the team was working confidently and efficiently with the new software.
