The family-run business has been a customer of ASA HOTEL for many years and is now taking another step towards digitalization: with roomeo camping, a tailor-made solution for management and billing in camping operations has been implemented.

The challenges

At campsites, electricity consumption per pitch is part of everyday operations – but accurately recording and billing it can quickly become complex.

The goal was therefore to create a solution that:

  • automatically records electricity meters
  • transfers consumption data directly into the system
  • generates invoices efficiently
  • and at the same time works seamlessly with existing systems.

The solutions

With roomeo camping, a solution specifically developed for camping operations was implemented.

The platform connects various systems and enables automated and transparent electricity billing. Electricity meters at each pitch transmit their data directly via the interface to ASA HOTEL, where the consumption is automatically assigned to the respective booking.

What makes it special: roomeo camping acts as a central interface between several programs.

In the Camping Arquin project, several systems work together seamlessly:

  • ASA HOTEL for guest management and billing
  • roomeo camping for controlling and integrating camping processes
  • orderando for digital guest services and self check-out
  • KNX building automation for the on-site technical infrastructure

For example, guests can pay their bill via orderando – the self check-out is automatically transmitted to roomeo camping and then to ASA HOTEL. This keeps the entire process fully digital and transparent.

The result

By combining these systems, a fully integrated digital infrastructure is created for the campsite. The key advantage: All processes – from consumption recording to billing and payment – are interconnected and run automatically in the background.
